A discussion with Trenton Horinek from Hologenix, creator of Celliant. Our August Product Materiality is a reactive material that absorbs the heat from your body, converts it to infrared, and delivers it back to the body where it's absorbed into the skin tissue and bloodstream.
Although research began in the early 1990s, FDA Determined/Designation in 2017 has lead it to be used in a variety of textile products, including in collections for both Designtex and CF Stinson. The hope is that by using this product as upholstery on office furniture, it'll nix some of the health issues that occur when people sit too long.
